This project was born from my curiosities about living in a new city. I looked through many corners but was always drawn to this one, and I wondered why that was. Through multiple observations and recordings, I set out to document the life of this corner. The multi-media project consisted of a video of the corner, a video of the transcribed interviews I conducted with a couple of Chicago locals, and an audio soundscape of the corner. I presented this project during the 2024 MAAD Expo at the University of Chicago as my Media Arts and Design BA Capstone project.
